Louis XV Armoires
 |
 |
This
is a typical example of a 19thC Louis XV double door
armoire.
We have many of this style in stock unrestored. As a
rule they come in from France as wood, typically walnut
and with their original bevel edge mirrored glass in
the doors, but look great with a painted finish.
This type of armoire is widely use all around the home.
In the bedroom as a wardrobe, in the dining/living space
with glass doors as a display unit or even, as this
one is, with the wire front and used as an unusual storage
space in a bathroom.
They are usually 8' -8'6" in height.
They are also available in single door and three door
versions. |

door from £1050, double door from £1295,
