hall/side table
Solid oak and hand carved detail.
Finished in farrow and ball 'light gray' with highlighted
detail, distressed and waxed.
These tables are made by Georges Regnault in the same
way that his father and grandfather made them. The family
have been making traditional Norman furniture in the
same hamlet since at least the 18thC.
Georges particular skill has been in restoring the intricate
carved detail to Norman marriage armoires. The detail
of these armoires is second to none. Life sized 3D bouquets
of flowers are a standard feature.
Georges carves these relatively rustic panels for us
practically in his sleep but we love them!
This table measures 117 cm wide x 49 cm deep x 85 cm
tall
but they can be made to order any width and height.
