18th Century Norman oak fromagerie with 17th century elements (linen fold back panels from an earlier grain coffer)
From a farmhouse near Coutances, where it was still in use in the 1980's.
The old couple told us about their two farm collies that would get in and scoff whole cheeses and hams, if the doors were not properly closed!
Weathered bleached oak finish, internal shelf, iron hinges and lock plates
