The hand carved frame still retains its original painted and gilt finish, although now quite worn and patinated 
The bed has been recovered in a natural linen with a double piped edge
The frame will fit a standard 150 x 200 cm kingsize mattress, it has been newly fitted with wooden slats and centre bar
